Hey Bros n ladies. I am trying to find a way to Supercharge or turbocharge my 3.8. Does anyone have any info? without having to swap the motor?

 

What year is your car, are you in the right gen section?

 

I'm sure you're in the wrong section but if you want a forced induction on a 4th gen Camaro 3.8, a turbo is about the only way to do it unless you're very, very good at fabricating. The Eaton m90 supercharger air intake and throttle body would be at the rear of your motor. It's been done but by people who have good fabrication resources. You couldn't put an intercooler core under the supercharger either. Plus you'll get more power from a turbo setup. You have the L36 which has a 9.5:1 compression ratio which does limit you on boost. If you can find an L67 from a GTP or Regal GS, it would be a direct swap and you could put your lower and upper intake with the turbo setup. That motor has a 8.5:1 compression ratio and was made for boost. Good luck with your project.
