Just a question if any happens to know:

How many exhaust manifolds come off the engine in my 89 Camaro V8 5.0L 305 TBI?

How big are the exhaust pipes between the engine and catalytic converter?

I'm looking into increasing the size of my exhaust and installing a Flowmaster system in the back. I just want to know your guys' opinion on if it will help increase HP and what would be the smartest decision. Also, I need to go know compatibility wise for exhaust manifolds.

 

If your looking for a cast iron manifold to fit your Camaro that is bigger I dont think you will have much luck. The bigger manifolds are on trucks and they wont fit in the small space. I think it was the Corvettes or H.O. engines that had better flowing manifolds. I would suggest headers and a cat back system.

 

Don't bother with exhaust manifolds, find a set of headers.
