i drive a 92 rs when i first get in the car and start driving it drives fine about after about 5 to 10 mins. it starts to drive really rough. it gets really jerky and i dont kno y. any advice would be apprecaited thanks.

 

need more info. what are the gauges telling you? check engine light? any service history? speeds that the issue starts?

 

No service lights come on, and my rpm gauge bounches around alot. I havent had any work done. It will do it no matter what speed basiclly from the time i put my foot on the gas till i take it off, and it doesnt matter what gear im in. Does this help any?

 

Sounds like fuel delivery to me.
Change the fuel filter 1st & see if there is any change in behavior.
That is easy to do and relatively cheap.
BTW, how does the air filter and crankcase breather element look?

 

i strongly recomend doing a tune up. plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air and fuel filters, and cleaning the throttle body. once you finish all that, see if that helps with the issue at all. sounds like it could be misfiring. what is the idle speed on the tach?

 

ive changed the plugs and the wires i just gotta get to the other stuff now. when i first start it up it goes to about 2000 then drops after about 20 to 30 sec. after that it varerys between 1500 and 1000

 

Which engine do you have...V6 that has FI, or V8 that has TBI?
