Default Engine Swap for 1990 RS

I recently bought a 1990 RS Camaro with a 305 TBI and 5 speed manual trans. I'm looking to swap a 1976 350 into it. Will the 1990 5 speed transmission bolt to a 1976 350?If so, are there any good sources of info for details of the swap such as mounting mods, cooling, etc?

Thanks 350RS. Any cooling issues? Use the stock radiator for 350 HP 350 ci motor? Also, any idea of max torque capability the trans?

cooling is fine so long as your not running a boat load of power.

The tranny handels around 300 pdft of torque i think. Maybe as much as 350... its pretty weak. Thats a big reason GM didnt put the t-5 ( the 5 speed) into 350 TPI cars from the factory very much. Couldnt handle the power. If your wanting more than that, the t-56 ( 6 speed in corvettes and vipers) is a failry easy project. i want to say its almost a bolt in project

if you get a t56 from an LT1 then it is a direct bolt up, if you get the one for an LS1 you need a different bell housing and the pedal assemble from an LS1.
