Electric fans?

Default Electric fans?

I have a 91 camaro rs with the 305 and im looking to add horsepower.. i have about 300 dollars to spend and some of my friends told me to get a electric fan to add horsepower.. i was also thinking of a new cam.. help me out

You should already have electric fans. A cam without changing the stock heads is a waste of money. Not much you can do with a 305 TBI without spending money and a lot of work and parts..

$300 wont get you too far anymore. Buy yourself some MSD super conducter wire, coil, distributer cap with brass contacts, shinny drop base air cleaner. Or a jet chip...Maybe and Edelbrock intake and a shinny cleaner since you take pics with your hood up.

I bought me a chrome air cleaner but i have all these hoses and wires going onto my stock air cleaner so i couldnt figure out how i would make it work..

drill and tap your new one to make it work. i had a chrome edelbrock air cleaner on my old carbed honda. i had to make several cuts and drill a couple holes for the stock sensors and vacuum lines to reinstall, but it wasn't such a big deal once i got into it. shame that it never cleared the hood. i added some hinge spacers (see washers) to give me just enough room to clear. it's a shame that car's in my graveyard now. it ran so nicely.
