Is this a decent stereo box/amp combo?
CHEVY CAMARO 82-92 PACKAGE DUAL 12" ZX400.1 AMP C12 SUB | eBay
I pulled out my box the other day....it was full of mouse crap, the box was chewed through and the wires were partially nibbled. I finally looked at my amp, its some 1990's hand me down Kmart system.... I found this combo on EBAY. Its in my price range and its a drop in fit. My question is will this system work well/hold up to the bumping industrial psycho rage I listen too?

hard to say anything specifically about this kit, but i can speak about kicker as a brand. i have the 8" kicker l7 which takes 450 watts and the "500" watt amp. this amp is certified to push 627 watts. worried i might be overpowering the sub i called tech support and asked. he told me no worries it can take a LOT more than recommended. this little thing hits HARD. all kicker stuff is made in the U.S. and you can tell its built to last. i push mine all the time and no problems yet, so i wouldnt be worried quality wise, but the ones you are looking at are the base subs so might not hit as clean. also consider this if youre handy: the box i made sits flush in the well portion of the trunk not the entire thing so i can still use it, but it pushes more watts than those two 12 inches combined and everything cost less for my system. each has their advantages (like 12's pushing more air) and im not telling you to do what i did, im just informing you that there are other options to consider.
