i was wandering if the 350 TBI is a decent motor because i came across a 1988 Camaro with a 350 TBI for 700.00. are they decent motors.

 

I've had them in many trucks and really have had good luck with them.

 

my friend has a rebuilt 350tbi in his short bed sierra 1500. i would consider it weak, as my geo tracker beat him by about 10 car lengths in a drag race. its also hard to tell if he is full throttle or coasting. however, he does have 33's with stock gears, so that could be the problem. the only problem he has with it is the fuel pump keeps dieing
