Default changing from mech speedo to electric.

As you saw from my other post, I'm going to convert my 84 dash to a 92 style.

One of the things I need to do is convert my cable driven speedo to electric.

I got a VSS unit out of a 91 camaro, and today, I removed the old cable driven unit, and noticed that the gear on it. Is larger then the gear on the electric version.

How do I get the right gear for the electric version?
Is there a cross reference out there?

Thanks
chris.

The VSS gears are all the same, the computation to display the right speed is done by the PCM. If the MPH is off, the PCM needs to be calibrated.
