It looks like you haven't got your linkage correct. How did you say you are fastening that TV cable? An edelbrock carb requires a correction plate when used with an automatic trans. Summitt or Hughes sells them. Good luck with the rest

Lol I am using a zip tie to lock the middle of the block piece to the circle end on the carb there.
