T56 trannys are best mated with ls motors. A 700r4 with new manifold and carb is still and awesome combo for street apps. I have many engines with edelbrock manifolds and carbs. ur motor from what I understand is stock? the best application carb from edelbrock is a 600 cfm. My 92 camaro has an 800 on it, and an rpm air gap manifold, 420 hp. But before I built that motor I had a 600 cfm and a performer manifold on a stock 350. It really made noticable hp!
