Bypassing VATS Question
Okay so I bought the Bypass Vat Module and I STILL got no start from it...
I "THINK" I hooked everything up correct...
I took the "Red 12v Ignition Wire" and opened(not cut, open, just removed the protective coating on the wire) a wire from one courtesy lights and twisted the red 12v ignition wire onto it.
I then opened the Dark Blue wire that is on the ECM connector B6 and twisted the "White: Fuel enable wire. 50hz or 30hz" wire onto that one.
I then first took both the Control wire and Ground wire and grounded them out together (30hz signal) to test it.... Still Crank No Start...
.... Then I unhooked the Control wire from the Ground wire and just grounded the Ground wire and still... Crank No Start.
The LED Light is coming on telling me that I hooked everything up right.
My question is... When hooking up the "Control Wire," am I supposed to Cut open the Dark Blue and then just splice the control wire to it.... or what?
