Default Brakes

Does a 1988 Camaro IROC-Z have disc brakes all around? I am getting a 1988 IROC later this week. Are there any common problems that I might need to know about? Thanks

As far as I know it should, with a 9-bolt BorgWarner rear end.

RPO J65 was the option code for rear disc brakes. Unless the IROC has a 350 which required this option, 305 cars could have drum rear brakes (key word is this was a option).
Common problems?? Well it is a 18 yr old car and who knowns how its been maitained. It could be a great buy or a money pit so do your research before buying. Just make sure you know what you are getting.

Thanks guys. This Camaro has a 305 so I rekon it'll be having the drums brakes in the rear. This car is in drivable condition right now, it runs pretty well considering it's age and the fact that it hasn't been driven in a while, it is definitely a car I plan on putting money into as I've always wanted to take an older car and restore it. An '88 isn't that old... But I think this is the car for me and for only $1500.... I'll have her runnin' and lookin' good before too long! I'll take some pics before I start and as I'm along the way and post them in the photo forum.
