Need to know how well some of your guys breaks work.. Been driving the car for few weeks never speeding and the brakes aren't great but never had to slam them to stop.. Had incident last night and at about 30 mph, and i knowin any pos on the road should have been able to stop but couldn't stop in a 50ft distance or even 80ft.. can you guys lock your breaks up if you hit hard enough? how would you rate your stoping performance. I dont have leaks anywhere and fluid is in booster.. I just cant believe the brakes on this car are that crapy.. there has to be something wrong.. just coming up to normal stops i have to get in to it pretty good to stop.

yes if you stomp on them the fronts should come pretty close to locking up

 

no the pedal is soft.. it actually feels like its going almost to floor.. a couple pumps helps a little but not much.. i'll bleed and and see what happens.

 

yea do that first bleed all four start at longest line first back pass so on if that doesn't help take a look at the master cyl.

 

also what do your pads look like could be close to gone can make pedal go soft sometimes

 

yea i locked mine up one time going 30-35 dry road. Good tires too so the brakes are not bad.

 

Bleed the brakes. They should be firm at first. You should not have to pumpthe pedalto get them firm. If you are by yourself try to gravity bleed them. Make a trip around cracking open all the bleeders and the next trip around if there is fluid coming out close them.
