okay been looking around my car and changed the relays all fuses ok and changed filter still wont go and now i have my back seat off and dead center of the back seat theres 3 wires runing towards the front and they are black grey and purple are these the wire s for the fuel pump im guesing they are so im gonna try to see if i can follow them back to the relay and clean the connections and if it still dont go is it safe to assume its the pump then right thanks

 

heritage 1992 drop your rear end and exhaust then drop the fuel tank and pull the fuel sender out , if you go through GM you can get just the fuel pump in a repair kit, for a third of the cost of the whole fuel sender, Had the same problem with the wifes 92, now she toasted the 305 and she wants a 400 hp 350
