Kinda burned up?

Without being a wiseass, this is a real easy, off the shelf, Autozone item. I assume you are running all stock, a plain stock alternator will work. Its a 30 minute swap job. Let us know if we can walk you thru the process.

i got it down to 10 minutes lol but in all seriousness i agree with scott go to autozone and get a stock replacement. they put out 105 amps which i would think is plenty for most applications.

Do you work in auto zone? Can you change it for me?

I agree. Mostly any off the shelf alternator would be sufficient. its easy if you posses basic mechanical skills..while your there why not pick up a Haynes manual and learn how to do it yourself?

Bizarrae, I STRONGLY suggest you either start working on your mechanical skills or get another car. A 20 year old Camaro likes to eat little things like shocks, fuel pumps and brake lines....you need to know how to do this stuff or you wont be able to afford this car. An alternator is a great starting point to learn. There isnt much to screw up, its easy to get to and simple to swap out. Just be sure and disconnect the battery!

See if you can find one with a lifetime warranty.
Trust me it will be well worth it.
Over the years I've got 2 new ones from that wonderful little receipt.

Buy 105 amp one for 3rd gen V-8. Just make sure you don't buy a rebuilt one, even if it has warranty.
