Hi i have a 95 camaro and sometimes when I drive the battery will be in the red and the more i go the more it goes down until it dies. THat plug in the back of the alternator I pushed on it and the alternator kicked on. now its dead again and when I put a battery charger on the battery itsays full but its not. Where does that little red wire that comes off the back of the alternator go to - so i can check connections. Please help I am a girl and I dont have any worthy guys around me who know ****.

The best thing you can do is go by your local parts house and have them check your altenator and battery,they do it for free. If your batt. and alt. check fine then you start chasing wires. I think you have a bad alt. myself, but have them checked and see what you come up with

 

Large RED wire goes to the battery + terminal, small RED wire goes to instrument panel.
The problem seems to be with the connector you have been playing with, it may be damaged or dirty.
