Default 1987 Camaro

Hey so im new here but i was wondering what you thought of this car. A budy of mine has a 1987 Camaro that he wants to sell, needs work and he said $400 but im not sure if its to much or is it a good deal? The car is a V6 standard, he hasnt told me much about it other than that the motor needs some work, he isnt sure what is needing to be fixed. So is $400 a good deal? How hard are these cars to work on? are parts expensive? Here are a couple of pics of the car.

400 wouldn't be a bad deal but for a little bit more money you can get a lot more car. to make the car nice you'd need a lot of money. the body looks pretty tough, and the color has been changed. i wouldn'tbother.

The color has been changed, at one point it was pink aparently. He also has the replacment fender for the front and then it would be the motor that would neeed work that i can tell.

it was probably red and when red fades it looks pink. and a v6 that needs work is not worth it. unless you only have 400 bucks i wouldn't bother.

would you be willing to spend $1000?

Only person getting a good deal on that car is the Seller. Looks like a POS. My opinion.
