tranny question?
i just got a 79 berlinetta with a 350 that was put in and what i believe is a th350 trans not 100% sure because shouldnt a th350 have 1st 2nd then drive? mine only has 1st and drive. i thought someone might have put a power glide in for a minute but i realized that it does have 3 gears.
any info is appreciated

Differences you can see:
kick down cable = TH350,
No kickdown cable = TH400,
TH400-6 bolts in the tail housing
TH350-4 bolts
TH350 vacuum modulator faces right
TH400 Vacuum modulator faces back
Easiest way is the shape of the drainpan. The 400 pan resembles
the state of Texas.

I didn't fix mine yet because I pulled the motor and tranny so both could be rebuilt. I'm doing the motor. I don't know much about tranny's so I'm going to have a professional rebuild it and the rear end.
