Smog check

Default Smog check

Hi Guy's I am restoring my 1979 z28 camero and some one told me that may be I will have problem, with smog check
my question is, did anybody have problem with smog check ?
and also can some body teach me the beter to restore this car ? where to go for parts,

dude a care that old in some places dont have to have the smog stuff, and if i was you i would pull all that crap off all it does is take up space and and your car doesnt need any of it to run, need to go down to you rlocal dmv and see what the laws are and does your car still have the cat on the exhaust if it doesnt you will never pass deq but if the law says that you dont need that crap rip that off too, and is your car stock if so i have some pointers of how to get that camaro to run like a champ

i have an 80' and when i ahd my car inspected alls it needed was a visual check to see if the cats were there ...so you could like gut em if ya wanted but i think they have to be on there.....i live in PA it migth be diffrent in your state idk
