Default carter hesitation question

I have a carter carburetor on my 350, it runs very well except for one very small issue. From a stop if I floor itthe motor willhesitate for a few secondsand then acceleratejust fine. I have the accelerator pump linkage on the third hole from the pump, which way should I adjust it to eliminate the hesitation? I rebuilt the carb a weekor so ago if that helps. Thanks for any help
