BW Super T-10 Trans Problem
Anyone know how to align a Borg Warner Super T-10 transmission with the shifter outside of continual trial and error???
I have a 78 Z28 with original Super T-10 transmission, but someone changed the shifter to Hurst. The shifter and trans worked well together prior to being pulled. I pulled the trans to fix several bad leaks but now it onlywants to run in reverse, and will not go into neutral. In any forward gear, the engine will die even if I rev it and try to ease out on the clutch.
I foundinstructions in my 78 Chevy manual forneutral alignment directions for 78 Vette with a 4-speed, but it is different from the Super T-10.

RE: BW Super T-10 Trans Problem
It's the same basic approach on the super T10 or muncie. There is a slot in the center of the shifter body that you have to run a pin through with the trans in neutral. Only then can you adjust it. Try hurst online for instructions.
