I am hearing a rattling and I think i have had it pinpointed to the transmission, the rattling only happens in drive and reverse. I believe the torque converter bolts are loose. If someone could please tell me where the torque converter is in a TH 350 i would appreciate it.

 

get under the car and where your tansmission meets your engine there is a thin metal plate (cover for the tourque conv.) most likely held on with 4 3/8 bolts. remove the cover and your tourque conv. is right there. you will only be able to see the bottom half, so if the bolts are loose you have to tourque one, turn the conveter until you see another bolt and do the same. there should be 3-4 bolts on it.
