Default Leaf Spring from my 80 Camaro Base Model 2-Door Coup

I have the build sheet for my Camaro, where it says Rear Spring is Code “PC”. Incidentally, my car does not have a Rear Sway bar and build sheet confirms none was installed. I Drag Raced this car many years ago and fit a 28 in tall tire with no clearance problem. I want to run the same tall tire so my goal is to keep the clearance the same.

In my internet research (Summit, Jegs, Rock Auto, NPD, Speedway Motors, OER Restoration), I expected (before I removed them) my Leaf Spring Specs to be, 4 Leaf Springs, Width 2.5 in, Pack Thickness 1 1/4 in, Arch of 6 1/4 in, Eye to Eye Length of about 56 in, Spring Rate of about 130 lbs.

I was surprised to find my Leaf Spring that I just removed are different. I think my Spring is considered 4 Leaf as there are 4 leaf clamped together. There was a 5th leaf, about 16 inches in length that was on the axle pad and not clamped to the spring. So, I think I have a 4 Leaf Spring and the 5th was a shim?

The measurements of my Leaf Springs are, 4 Leaf Springs, 2.5 in, Pack Thickness 1 1/3 in, Arch of 8 3/4 in, Eye to Eye Length of about 58 in.

My biggest concern is the arch difference of my spring is 2.5 inches taller. My internet search does not list a 4 Leaf Spring that is anywhere close to an arch of 8 3/4 in. If anything, I figured my original springs would be less of an arch due to wear of 41 years old.

Now I wonder if anyone knows what the build code of PC for rear leaf spring is, or offer some advice?

I don’t want to install a new leaf spring only to find out my 28 in tall won’t fit anymore. If it helps, I attached a picture when my spring was installed.

Thanks
