79 studs????

Default 79 studs????
on my 79 camaro 4 back studs broke off the back wheel drove real slow to get it home when i got home the last one broke off so all five broke off what will cause this any idea any info please

The olny thing that I know that would cause that is if most of the nust came loose.

Could also be a case of overthigtening with an impact wrench causing metal fatigue, or you have a monster engine.

The tapers on the lug nuts need to match the tapers on the rims, especialy alloy wheels, or the studs can snap.
