Heater box studs

Default Heater box studs

Anyone know where I can get the studs that hold the inner heater box to the outer cover? They are a a course self tapping that screws into the inner and fine thread that hold the firewall side in place with nuts. No junkyards around me that have older stuff. I have a 79

you might want to try npdlink.com and see if they have them in the fastner section.

Well, any decent hardware store will have the studs. If you're going for the precise look and are going to carshows then that's the only reason I would get the replacement NOS looking parts. Fastenal might have something really nice if you have one close enough to you. I would just take one of the studs you have and go into the auto parts store or hardware store and have them run it through a size/thread finder and you should be able to get what you need.
