Well assembling the 4.7 took a bad turn. I wasn't aware the pins were pressed in. So I heated the small end and beat the pin out. I bent the rod. Now I need a new rod before I can get it together. Plus I'm paying to have the rods hung.

Thanks, it only took two tries. I still need to sand it. I had to drop the motor in so I could use the engine stand.

I installed the pistons tonight. It went easier without the vomiting. Got the new rod bolts last Friday. Just need to get the valves swapped over to the heads I had milled and then its on. Yes I'm still a touch sick, I went to the doc Thurs, I was right acute ear infection. Plus a upper respiratory infection. Doing anything has been a pain.

There will be a visitor in the garage soon. My buddy has a 04' Ram that we lowered 6" in back and 4" in front. Anyhow he is hell bent on doing a LS swap in it. Thats right 6.0L Chevy motor out of a Silverado HD. He had the motor delivered to our shop last week. Its on! After the swap it turbo time! No kidding. We're doing a twin turbo LS swap in a 04' Ram. It will be documented to death so you guys will see it as we get it done. The goal is having stage one done for Power Tour in June. They're stopping here again so we plan on going to Detroit to start the tour and riding to Chicago when they leave here. Cut...Chop...Weld... it will get done.
