The hood is going to be the 2 1/2 from AMD. It looks just like Vall's but it levels out across the top instead of a constant angle.

i think that will look really sharp on ur car is it the l-88 one.or just a cowl/

Just a cowl. No l88's for me. I used to think they were awesome back in the day. They went out with mullet's for me.

I used to run a 1964 Malibu with a L88 on it. did all the work my self came out ok but not the best. But hey back in 1977 it was cool ! (Got to find some of my old pics )

I like the L88 style, but after having it on my car for many years I just wanted a change, and that was my main reason for going a conventional cowl.

yeah i like the L-88 hood too,i must be getting old.i also really like the cowl on vals car nice and sleek,thats the kind of cowl im gonna go with,maybe 3 or 4 inches,damon that car will look really sharp with a cowl hood.

Just remember, the bigger cowls and some smaller ones interfere with the wipers.

Most the interference issues have ended up being aftermarket wiper arms. Those with true original arms rarely have clearance issues.

There is a thread on Nasty right now talking about this. Some guys fit some don't even with factory hideaway wipers. The rep from AMD called us a bunch of backyard mechanics that don't know crap. Then proceeded to tell the poster that his car must have bad bushings and a list of other things. What the rep didn't know was the guy is a professional restorer and his car is cherry low mileage car.
