I agree. A tv in the family truckster is one thing. There was a truck at the Autorama a few years ago that had tv's under the seat facing out. He had 100k in paint though.

I don't really turn the radio up in my pickup these days. The choke went out so my cheap azz replaced it with a manual choke until a new carb comes along. As cold as its been in the mornings, I'm constantly listening to when I need to open or close it more.

That sort of thing baffles me totally. How can you get $100k into a paint job? If you buy the world's best paint products I can't see how a guy ever gets that much into materials and labor. Just bizarre what people will waste on paint work.
Sometimes I think people with more money than brains just want to be able to brag how much they spent. If it's not enough to shock people they aren't happy.

Ok here we go. A truck like this never leaves your memory. 100k is a VERY conservative guess. The guy told me personally he emptied his 401K to do it. He was a nice guy who also sold a DVD of the truck being unveiled at a military base. The proceeds went to charity, something to do with 9/11. So I bought one. It took about a second to find him with google.

Now some pics.

Some more and some of the rig that hauls it around. I'll see if I can find some pics of the awesome paint job they sanded off to do this one. At the time I saw it I had a brother, four cousins, and two of my best friends serving in the desert. Damn thing almost brought tears to my eyes.

Did you see the TV under the seat? Thats what jogged my memory to begin with. There isn't one section of the whole truck that isn't air brushed. I can't find a good pick of the mural on the bottom of the truck. The chassis is all custom bent stainless. That was built just so it could be flipped up and show the bottom.
