Does anyone have pics with a fuel cell and battery in the trunk. I have a 16 gallon and am trying to figure out how to do it without blocking off the passenger compartment. LIke mounting from the bottom with a door in the floor. Thanks-Damon

Seems like most people stuff them in the trunk, or mostly in the trunk and I never liked that way. I don't use my trunk for much, but I do still carry the original spare in mine, and I'd like to keep it. Guess that's why I never went with a fuel cell or trunk mount battery.
Here's a post that shows a couple:

My fuel tank is going to stay where it is. I'll stick the battery in the trunk, an amp in the trunk, maybe a sub, and a big maybe on nitrous, the rest of the space will be handy for the occasional walmart trip.

Gas spills are a real problem with fuel cells in the trunk. Never get the smell out of the car until it all evaporates.

You really only need a fuel cell if it's gonna be a strip car only.

I aready own the cell and don't have a gas tank. There are a few different reasons why I am going with one though. I don't like the just through it in the trunk look of most of those in the links. I had it mounted between the frame rails on my short box pickup. With just a hole for access to the filler. It was easier with the truck because of the bed being so flat. I guess I'll just stare at it for awile. I'm not into puting sheet metal behind the seat. I still want to use my 6x9 holes too.

I considered a fuel cell even though I never plan to race mine again. I just liked the look of the fuel cell, but I couldn't figure a good way to install a fill neck from the cell to the normal location under the license plate. In the end I dropped the idea and kept my tank.

So I made an attemp at squaring my subframe yesterday. Its alittle harder than it looks. Mostly due to the fact I work third and was up close to 25 hrs when I started. Then my drunk cousin stopped by and offered his assisance, that was not fun at all. I will go back out there tomorrow and get it right. I was having a hard time reading a tape measure streched out past 59"(I'm 6'4" it was still tuff). The Nasty site suggested dropping bolts down thruogh the alighment holes, so thats what I'm gonna try. Has to be easier than trying to hold both ends of the tape.
