So here it goes, my project thread (2nd gen)

I think its around 50or 60 bucks. I got these at a swap meet for $5 uppers and lowers. They sell them like that. uppers are like 25 and lowers are like 30. It would be easy to verify, summit has them. A word of advice though, even if there new check around the welds for cracks and especially if there used.
*edit* Just looked it up, it is not universal, I'll have to look around for them. Project is looking great too btw. Keep it up, I'm hoping to get some things in order with mine today, and hopefully spend some weeknights sandblasting. I am going to try to finish my rims tonight and get the car back on the wheels again.

Still using that rubber bushing or whatever on the frame side? I am wanting solid, but it may happen for me after I put my final engine in.

The lowers are welded where the tube for the bolt is. Mine are Moroso. I've seen three of them crackes. Mine have a little bit of a stress crack from when they were stamped. Thats why there in primer and not gold chromate. I had a dude a work through a little tig weld on the crack. That destoyed the finish and I bead blasted them after that.

Wow, nice work with the clutch. That template must've been a godsend. I'm gonna do a four speed swapwhen my engine comes back from the machine shop. I figure that while I've got everything out of the car, I might as well. Any tips or pitfalls I should look out for?

Not really It was straight forward. The only snag I had was not having the self-threading bolts, they wer easy to come by. I'll do the pedals the next time I'm out there. I still have to get the hump from the j-yard. I need to get out there before the bees get out of control.
