Today was good too. Got the hole in the floor cut and pedals in. Bought a nice throttle cable at auto zone. Got that in and return spring on. I cleaned the wiring harness and got that in. Name: 009-5.jpg

I like that throttle cable! Mind mentioning the Autozone price? I need one for my Austin.

It was 25 bucks. Specter Brand. Cheap I know. It comes about twice as long as it is in the pic. Also it comes with the little dohickies for adapting different pedals and a stud for the carb linkage.

Well no prgress to report on. I did get a new set of Dura blocks and ordered my epoxy primer from Southern Polyurathane. I did clean up the wiring harness, so maybe I'll get this thing running soon.

We just a Bike Time here. Its the fastest growing bike event in the country. There were around 60,000 bikes and 120,000 people for the weekend event. They take over down town and the whole city is behind it. Even the mayor has a ride.Name: bt20103.png

Sweet, drink a few for me lol. nice touch with the throttle cable, did you use a grommet or sealer on the hole in the firewall for it?

I plan on taking it back out and using black rtv. The jamb nut on the inside is a pain in the ***. Plus its on stands next to my dads truck and I can't open the drivers door. My back hurt for days after the pedals and the cable.

Looks like I'm about to follow in your wake, putting in a 4 spd where an auto was. Any suggestions?
