You need a pair of these for the exhaust system, so you can have some fun making noise!

Please don't pull that console out for me today, I was just teasing you man! Remember when you were looking for one for your Camaro? I just figured since you switched the vehicles you were working on and had a GP console....

Damon,

I'll be over your way next Sunday afternoon. If nothing else it would give me a core to send in for a repair. There are companies on eBay that rebuild them. Who knows, it just might work! Mine won't communicate with my scan tool. What year is the GP? Mine is a 2000 but I'm pretty sure they are all the same 97-2003. I'd appreciate it. Let me know if that would work and what you want for it. Thanks! Neil

I'll give it to you. And mine is '98. I can get it off for you no problem.

Wow, thanks Damon! I'll get with you to figure out how to meet up. I'm pretty sure they're the same from 97 - 03.

Nice meeting you and your wife Neil. The module should be OK. I lost abs and traction control at the same time. I didn't fix it because I get stuck in the snow every time the traction control kicks in. Can't rock it or anything when its pulling so much timing the engine won't rev.

Some day I'll call in the favor but for now we're good. It was kind of a chore getting it off. I got knocked in the front ds tire. Snapped the spindle and pushed the shock tower over onto the abs module. Couldn't get at the mounting bolts for the bracket with the tire pushed up in there. I was surprised the lines came off really. I was expecting to cut them off.

Hope it fixes your car. Just pay it forward an were cool.

Damon, it was great to meet you also and put a face with the name. Your boys were a lot of fun and I'll bet a handful at times. That's a great age! I bet they enjoyed the trip to the playground at McDs.

I appreciate you getting the ABS module out of your GP. If it was hit on the driver's front then I can only imagine how hard it was to get at it. I'd love to have a word with the engineer and bean counter that designed that car. The power steering is a real b***h to just top off.

You can call in the favor any time. As I said, I get over your way fairly often with family all over the area. I want to get over soon and go out to US131 MSP.

Thanks again!!!

Neil

Last weekend would have been the time. There were two jet trucks and a bunch of other stuff. I too am needing my fix of race fuel and burned rubber. I havent been to the track yet this year and it sucks.

Yes the boys are a hand full. I put the GP on CL today for parts so if you wanting anything else let me know. I did gut the interior though. The seats look good in the truck and the console may work in the Camaro. So kid called from Wisconsin already wanting the sway bars. Then realized I was on the other side of the lake and hung up. Dork.
