Yes clacia, I am thinking about Easy-EFI 2.0. If I do pull the trigger on it I will get the kit with the inline pump and self learn function. I spoke to FAST about this and the kit can handle up to 1200hp. If and when I go to a supercharger i only would need to change out the ECU/ECM whatever its called and a couple small sensors.

The Saudi's had a cartel meeting on Friday though and didn't set a limit for oil production and stocks took a beating. My world gets more uncertain every day and I'm pretty sure that I'm not gonna drop the money on the car until oil prices stabilize.

I know how you feel. My salary also depends directly on oil companies. And I feel the same when I spend money like stupid on the car!!! And now that my wife is pregnant again, I am feeling it more.

But I cant stop now. There is no point of return and I have to finish this project. The money "invested" in the Camaro will go down the drain if I stop. Now close to 35K spent and still a long way to go !!

You know as well as I do that the 35k is just a drop in the bucket from what the final amount will be. I am just taking some time away from mine for now, i will see how i feel about spending the money in the new year. I can easily afford it but every day that I am at work reminds me that I want to retire early to be able to enjoy the toys that I do have and in order to do that careful planning has to be done.

Haha I actually did that my last time home from work, i went and got a 78 trans am running at my buddies shop, it took me all of 10 minutes to realize that I don't like working on other peoples cars.

As for the price of oil, the company I work for has laid off 1700 people out of 4500, and we have taken an 11% roll back in wages. Its a scary time.

That is very sad.... Hope things get better.

May I ask you please to take a picture of your bulk head / firewall where you had to make the mod for the distributor cap to fit?

Thank you.

I will try to remember to take a photo of the clearances next time I am out there, currently I am 12 time zones from home working. I did not have to make any modifications for the distributor to fit.

I thought once you told me that you had to hammer a bit the fire wall to accommodate the distributor cap. Maybe I am wrong.

Yes please if you remember a picture will be appreciated.

The fuel pressure should be around 7psi to the carb. And I noticed as well that you have 750 cfm carb? The 572 I am going for has 1050 dominator.

Quite a difference. Maybe you should try and swap to a larger carb?

Not so long ago you said that the engine was running perfect. Maybe you have some residue in the tank which is restricting fuel?

Just trying to help.
