I agree. I had both poly and solid on my Camaro, and didn't notice much difference. Poly are pretty firm. If you don't want to feel vibration, better not build a hotrod!

Thanks for your replies. I will go for poly mounts transmission and engine. Will order them from Classic industries.

There are alot cheaper places to order from then Classic. Im canadian so anything that comes from there is pretty close to 100% more then list price by the time you pay shipping, duty, and handling. Use someone like Summit or Jegs and it will be cheaper for you.

Got the rear alternator support water jet. Its machined so that you can still see the GM Performance Parts logo on the head. Just need to drill a hole and cut down the spacer to get the alternator mounted up. Will polish out the aluminum a bit more down the road, maybe even throw on some clear powder coat to stop it from oxidizing.

Nice piece! Good idea to clear it. I have a lot of trouble keeping polished aluminum looking good over time.

Cool, I wish I had access to a water jet sooo bad. I could probably spend a month just cranking out cool stuff. I looked into buying a CNC plasma cutter table. 10k was out of my price range. But I'm sure I could sell stuff to recoup the cost.

Alright, still nothing major to update but the front end assembly is finally finished. That little bracket i posted a picture of a few days ago took the wind out of my sails for 8 months. When i found that the March stuff didnt work, it beat me and i lost drive to work on the car.

Makes me pretty happy that this is done. Its one of the first projects in a long time that is actually complete.

Couple pictures below.
