Sorry it wont be for sale as its not mine. The old man bought it a while back when we were working on the car before and it will be staying in his shop for his Chevelle that we will start once my Camaro is done.
tlittle thanks! its gonna be another couple of weeks before i can even look at it again so i am hoping soon after i get home i can do something, even if its small.

Just spoke with my girlfriend and apparently the rest of the big brake conversion came in for the front of the car. This brings up two quesions.
First may sound a little dumb as i assume i know the answer but is there some way the the front rotors can stay black once they are used? I dont see how they could becuase i imagine after you take the top coating off they will be silver like most other brakes. Please give me your thoughts.
Second is, what is the best way to plumb in the brake system? Do i clean, paint and reuse my existing lines with new fittings and new flex hoses attaching to the calipers? Or do i buy new stainless braided lines for the full car. One concern that i do have is how close my oil pan comes to the brake lines on the rear or the top (i cant remember off hand) of the front cross member. When i say they are close, i mean more like really really close and i am thinking it may be better to run new ones along the bottom of the cross member.
What is the purpose of the coils of brake line coming out of the master cylinder? Is it just to make the brake lines the same length or something?
Thanks for the help!

I'd just run new lines if you have the budget for it.
I think the coils are there to help keep the line from breaking from flex fatigue, like from body flex and such. I just kinda came up with that on my own and would be interested to find out if I'm on the right track.

Yeah im going to have to think about what i want to do with the lines.
Changed my mind on the tubular control arms again. Its time to focus on the things that the car HAS to have in order to get it on the road. If anyone could see the boxes of brand new parts that are piling up it is disgusting, but in a good way.
Almost down to two weeks again till home time!
