yeah for ight now im just running a 140 gph mechanical pump,the only way i would run the electric pump is if i ran the fuel cell wich i might have to,if theres any junk in the tank im gonna be going to the fuel cell,like u say then i can drop the tank and create lots of room to mount it there,yeah my exhaust will be routed out the back like original.im gonna be running a holley regulator with return even with the mechanical pump,like u say lots of these carbs dont like more than 6lbs of pressure especially holley carbs and my mechanical runs aroun 8 lbs of pressure so i gotta regulate it,i like to set mine between 5 and 6 lbs,no need for any more than that,when we dynoed it we only ran about 4.5 to 5 lbs of fuel pressure.makes it idle better without flooding out the carb.by dropping the tank i could mount the electric pump there inbetween the exhaust and should have no problem keeping cool.and lots of the new pumps are submersible and could just mount it in the fuel cell somehow.

 

yeah that must have sucked u werent there to vote,LOL. i been there a few times,u probably seen my cousins there they always go to it,they live in fruit port,nice little town.they live right on apple avenue between fruit port and nunica.

 

I don't use a return on mechanical pumps. They can handle the head pressure and not need a return. I run 4.5 lbs. pressure on all my cars, and never had an issue keeping the carbs full of fuel.
On my dual quad tunnel ram I was going to use both outlets to run one line to each carb, but decided to put my pressure gauge in one outlet and then feed the other to a fuel block that a buddy makes and then to each carb.

 

sweet i love that tunnel ram set-up,that fuel block is awesome great idea,yeah i think im gonna run mine at 4.5 too and see how it does,ur right it doesnt take much fuel pressure and so much easier to tune at that pressure in my oppinion.is that ur 327 in ur austin,looks killer,always liked the tunnel ram set-up.

 

got some more work done last night,my shell is finally 100 percent in primer and block sanded,just gotta wet sand it with 600 grit then i can spray the cobalt blue and clear coat.also layed my final coat of primer on the inner fenders and also sprayed the inner shell on my passenger door,tonight im gonna try to spray all my jams with cobalt blue,if the weather holds up its supposed to rain so maybe not,dont like laying color in high humidity.

but not by much bro,i havent even,began the interior yet,my shell is completely block sanded and primed,last night i sprayed the inner fenders,trunk jam and door jams in cobalt blue,im thinking maybe saturday i will shoot the shell in cobalt blue and clear coat.if u need any help on ur camaro just say so,im just a short drive away.

 

I need days off from work. I need a short rest from doing anything. Then I can jump on something. I worked 14hrs yesterday and then had to drive down by you this morning for my sons eye doctor.

 

yeah hbro i figured u been working lots of hours,one person can only do so much,hopefully u can get some time off soon

 

got the door jams,trunk jam and inner fenders painted cobalt blue,just gott final sand the shell with 600 wet sand and its ready to be sprayed probably tomarrow im hoping.
