no not really i have custom made light weight pistons and lightweight forged crank by eagle, revs really fast i was amazed for a 436 cubic inch motor, revs like a 350,and its all internally balanced like a 350 is.

Ok on your fuel filter I would run a canister type between the pump and carb. What do you have for fuel line? Braided stainless? Stock? I wouldn't trust the stock line at your power levels.

Like this but with NPT on one side to thread into the pump.

IDK if you need a prefilter with a mechanical pump so I would just get a 10 micron like i pictured. On my car I have a Holley electric pump, the old school Fram canister filter that hangs out from under the rear bumper and a 10 micron post filter.

yeah i thibk it would be a good idea to also run one of those old style fram filters before the pump,so u have one of those holley electric pumps, hope its not the blue one if so i feel for you bro, been there done that never again, that thing was so loud, and kept over heating on hot days, left me on the side of the road 4 times in my chevelle,so i went back to the mechanical pump, but lots of people love them and have good luck with them.

figured i might as well keep on working on the body while im waiting for my tranny to get rebuilt.wich could be a little bit,my freind is gonna rebuild it for only the cost of parts,so i gotta wait until he gets some fre time to do it,his tranny shop is busy this time of year, then i gotta paint it and install the 3,000 rpm torque converter,so i been working on the passenger side lower quarter panel there was a few bumps and bruises to smooth out, then i started on the rear bumper cover that also needed alot of work to look good again, and also got the drivers side upper quarter panel ready for primer then i could lay down my coats of 2k primer, finally getting somewhere.

spent all night working on my camaro again, got the trunk gutter all sanded down to 400 grit, then i finished the body work on the drivers quarter and sanded that to 400 grit, then primered it,and started working on the roof of the car, also had a few places on the rear bumper cover to touch up.
