Cobalt Blue 79z28
thx oldman9 i really appreciate that, hopefully tomarrow we can see the whole shell in blue,if everything goes as planned.
thx damon i love that color too,one of the nicest blues i have seen, but im no pro just trying to do the best job i can with what i have to work with
well got my shell painted, came out like crap.this is the first and last time i try to paint a car in the garage, usually rent a paint booth but the place where i go went out of buisness, that and this cheap paint i used its aweful.should have just left it in yellow primer it looked better.

Looks pretty tight to try and lay paint down and keep the right distance on your passes. All is not lost though. If you're going with the same color it will make a good base for the next passes once you wet sand it.
bro i so wish i could,i wanted to see the power tour so badly, but i gotta try to fix this mess, and i only have a 18 hour recoat window, ugggg!!!
yeah im gonna spend tomarrow wet sanding the whole shell with 800 grit, then respray it,this time im gonna lay multiple light coats,im just mad at myself for trying to do it when i was in a hurry, not gonna respray it until i have the entire day to lay the paint.
As long as its not dusty, you could paint outside. I have seen some sweet cars done outside. Then pull it right back in. I primed outside with my car.
Val is right. The biggest issue I see is when you paint the fog that gets created will land back on the car. It really sucks when you do clear like that. The particles in the air harden and fall back on the car and look like dirt.
I missed PT as well. I got out late last night and my back has been bad lately. So I was up late and didn't get my **** out of bed to go.
