thx guys i think im gonna try what james did and install the passenger side before dropping it in,then install the drivers side when i almost got the engine where i want it,will be much easier than trying to install them once the engine is bolted in.i surely wont wanna scratch up my newly painted engine bay,i will try a few things, havent painted my floor pans underneath yet waiting until i get to the interior, who knows what i might find and have to replace the floors anyway.

well yesterday i came across a really good deal on a perfect dashpad, the deal was i had to remove it,so thats what i spent yesterday doing, was well worth it,and today i worked on my front bumper cover applying filler and block sanding it,and applying more filler then sanding some more trying to get this as atraight and blemish free as possible.

I was down your way yesterday. I took my son to Devos Children's Hospital for a check up. I was shocked when I left I saw a 70 Mustang convertible getting on the Gerald R Ford from College Ave. Blue smoke rolling out of the tail pipes and all. Just an odd place for a hot rod, specially when I have to get up to 90 sometimes just to merge.

I'm there about once ever two weeks these days. My son has to have surgery on his eye. So we visit the doc. for measurements regularly leading up to surgery. I know Grand Haven well too. My Jeep motor was machined just north of there. Have to take the trip today actually, I can't figure out how these damn rings go on. No directions at all.

2.5 is like perfect... if it is duals... the stock 2500 Silverados at work have a 3 inch single exhaust so I would think that the 2.5 duals should be good for your SBC.
