Didn't know they went to retractable belts in the back seat in later 2nd gens. Mine weren't retractable in front or rear.

Maybe your car doesn't have the seat beat hump in the wheel well either Vall. Thats the pocket in the wheel well for the retractor.I crawled under my car the other night now that its down on the tires. The don't touch but they will get some hammer work just in case.

No, I'm sure there's no recess for a retractor too. Just a threadsert where the belts bolt on.

Well gall lee. I didn't know that. That is something guys restoring later cars may want. That bubble for the retractor is the closest thing to my tire.

I had order new window sweeps outer and inner and finally got around to putting them on. The outside was easy as I just dropped the window and took the old one off and put the new one on. The inside was a little hared. Removing the staples to take the old felt off without breaking the plastic on the door panel was interesting. I ended up using my dremel too to cut each one. I used double sided tape to put the new ones on. used some small clamps to hold everything in place overnight to let it set good before I put panels back on doors. Sorry for not getting pics of all this, it was done over a period of several days a few minutes at a time between working horses.

Those inners gave me major headaches! I tried to staple them with a HD stpler and then bend the staples over, but most just bounced off the strip. I ended up having to take mine to an upholstery shop and have them staple them with their tool. Should have done that right from the beginning, but I'm too stubborn.
Hope that tape holds! If it doesn't find a local shop and have them staple them in.

Been a while since did any thing with the Camaro, just trying to save some money to get things done. Last week I took 2 day and went up to Biscay's classic Auto and picked up a new cowl hood. Got a good price and did not have to pay shipping. Just befor that I found a 1969 block #010 in really good shape that I will use for my motor. and as soon as my mechanic gets back on his feet (knee surgery ) I will have the rear end redone with a 3.42 posi.

Also today I took my #461 heads to the machine shop and they are going to do hardened seats and stainless valves.
