The plywood is a great idea, and makes the repair very solid! Might not be able to get a rear deck panel to lay flat enough with the ripples in the metal. Might have to either cut them out, or beat them down carefully to get the panel to lay down.
I'd like to get together if you make it over here to the west side of the Cascades!

Besides the new rear tray I also got new jute backing for it, and it covers up the bad metal very well and the tray fits nice. I'll have pics next week. Next time I get up that way I'l let ya know Val.

OK, Front dash is done, stereo installed and all ducting done!

Rear tray installed and done, fit was nice. Temp installed the back seat to hold down flap on tray.

Put in new carpet and I will let it set for a couple of days and unfold. Have heater on both sides of car to warm up carpet.

Front part of interior is done now on to rear seats quarters and sail panels. I'm going to pull tray back out, rear windowis really dirty and with tran I can polish inside of window. Then I'll put rear of interior together. New dash and carpet sure make a difference. Door panels will be one of the last things to back on this winter. Since the drivers seat was in place and the sun was pot, I took the camaro out for a short drive today. Happy the things are coming along!

Between some new parts, junk yard parts and some parts from ebay the back seat area is done. I'm going to have to break down and get some new seat belts in black though. Any one got a good dye for seatbelts. Still have to do door panels and consol. Headliner will be next year.

Very nice improvements! The headliner would be best to do while the rear window is out. Makes things much easier! They're also really cheap at around $55 for the factory style cloth ones, i your's uses that type.
I did mine with windows in, and it came out pretty decent, but not as easy as windows out.

Over the last few days I've gotten the re dyed door panels on and the B&M shifter and console in and the shifter adjusted. Took it for short drive to make sure shifter was working ok, and all seems fine. After making just a few shifts with the B&M I do like it.
