Unless that's the vintage of this guy, but I doubt he was the re-drill pioneer.
I think it is less about lowering the body to him and more about changing the absolute center, putting the power to the wheels. I'll have to wait and see how it does.

I agree; Herb Adams sure wasn't the first guy to figure out how to redrill shackles to lower a car. Most budget minded hotrodders were doing it in the 50's or earlier to save building shorter shackles, or buying new. It's a great trick, but not a new idea, even in the 70's.

Got the garage all cleaned up again tonight. I'm starting to consider instead of putting the parts car back together to keep it mobile, to just keep what I want and sell the rest of it off.

I agree he didn't invent it. Its just part of the performance package he came up with for our cars. He was the the lead designer for the WS6 package as well.

Well I had to present at a school board meeting on our progress last night. Seems like more often than not something gets in the way of car time. Hopefully I'll get back at it tonight. I believe that my goal for the night is going to be to get some wood and build something to hold the rear end of the parts car up safely. I'm just going to try to sell the rear end and stuff.

I've spent the last few days getting some stuff I won't need up for sale. I took the exhaust brackets off the rear frame rails, and the bump stops from the wheel wells to use on my project. I need to find new rubber though.

Well, I can't think of anything else to do on the car without an engine. I will have to save up some funds in order to move forwards. I have gotten alot of work done here lately, and it'll have to be put on hold for a while. About the only thing I can do is put the bump stop brackets in the rear wheelwells, but I need new bumpstops so I may just as well wait until I can come up with some of them.

Hmm. That sucks. I need a set of bumpstops myself but have no funds.

Funds are a big issue here. I need to get sound proofing too. I suppose I could tear into my doors.
