how's it goin? its been a while. igot a steel cowl hood short say roughly 2-3 inches. great structure just as gm would have made it. its really nice with the original air cleaner style sealing ring etc. so you can fab a stock one in fairly easily iimagine. ican sell you mine, its very 1969 z28 style hood. its silver and in new condition. just strip, re-prep for paint. paint and finish to match your car or, when you paint it, if you haven't yet. im a painter, and am going to repaint my car. the paint on it, is just temporary from the place who soda blasted it. iwant a fiberglass lift off hood with good quality structure I want an L88 hood or something like it. then i'm going to make it out of carbon fiber from scratch and mod it like corvette summer hood well not that big or exact and, just want it unique like that one is. maybe start with a stock fiberglass hood then work from there. also molding all custom interior although, it shall be sparce, less is more. its going to be a pro touring street daily driver and track cookie cutter pizza delivery record buster special well hopefully hope this helps. pm me for any more ideas. I can get more pictures in my album of it in case anyone wants to look to compare.
