This is my '81 the I just got running again. It's been in storage for years. I haven't really worked on a sports car before, and definitely not an old one so I'm going to have some questions.

The headlights turn on but the instrument panel doesn't have any lights behind it. I changed the fuse and nothing. So I think it's either the switch or the actual light. I attached a photo of the instrument panel before I crank it. So any suggestions?

Also, what would y'all upgrade first, besides the engine? I figure getting new shocks/springs would be good since those are 36ish years old. But again, I'm clueless. So any info or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

For dash lights grab the switch **** and twist the bejesus out of it.
Turning the **** controls a rheostat for dimming the dash lights and at full direction, dome light(s) come on.
Sometimes as a rheostat sets with ono movement, a burn spot happens and just need to twist it rapidly for clearing up burn spot.

 

hey great car Aaron. i'm thinking about selling mine not that I would its just idont have the money to build it up correctly right now because of no job and in 2015 igot slammed on my head over and over and over again in a government facility helen ross mc nabb center it still hurts and my chest hurts and my throat doesn't let me make high notes anymore just this weird sound and its like they stole my butterfly from my throat. icertainly deal with negative people all my life then this happens. well the camaro has been on hold since I tried to start building it for someone. iwas going to do a widebody camaro tourer out of it. ifound overunity and want to build it , but ihave no funds the government tried to make me sign trillions of dollars over to them and iwould not. so here iam. iam.
