1970 interior color questions.
I just purchased a 1970 and 77 camaro as a package deal and was looking at the cowl tag and it appears the 70 was the classic copper color with saddle interior. I am going to swap the 77 (parts car) interior into the 70, however, the dash pad and center console are black. Were the interiors all color matched or was the dash pad and center console black on some? I am getting both cars on tuesday this week and will be able to tell more once i get them. I will have to dye them or buy the correct color to make it all match. I will be parting out what i dont use on the 77.

There may be exceptions, but its been my observation that the console and dash were color matched to the interior. For example, I had a silver 78, with blue console, dash, rug, door panels and seats.
You can do a google image search on GM Camaro ads of the 70's and verify.
