Default Custom Interior?

I know there's a separate section for interior, but I've also noticed hardly anyone goes there and there's like no posts. So I thought I'd just post it here. I was thinking about getting a custom interior done eventually, but I was wondering how much any of you guys have paid to have it done? I'm talking all the doors, carpeting, etc, whatever was done. I'm just curious to a round-about price tag for that kind of work.

It all depends on what you want. The cost can range from $500 to $5000 depending on what you mean by custom. Give us a few more details on how mild or wild you wanna go.

recovering the seats, new carpeting, new door panels, new/painted plastic parts around dash and console and sail panels...i was curious how much other people have spent on their interiors. i'd want probably just a plain black covering all over, maybe a two tone on the doors and dash and console.

Well lets see..... In 1996 it cost me $1600 to have the interior of my 1988 camaro recoverd in purple tweed (don't laugh it was 1996 purple tweed was still cool ) but I had everything coverd dash, door panels console you name it. If it wasnt tweed it was billet. If you're a DIY type of person check out hawksthirdgenparts.com they carry seat recover/rebuild kits in several colors at a reasonable price. Since the factory seat covers just clip on it's not really that hard to peel off the old ones and slip on the new. Now as far as having trim panels painted you can go one of two ways. First choice is go to your local parts house pick out a rattle can of your favorite color and have at it. This process should cost around $20 bucks and look somewhat ok at best. Second is to remove the panels and take them to a good body shop and have them smoothed and sprayed properly which should cost from $250 to $1000 bucks depending on how much you want painted. But you're looking at a couple weeks down time. Hope this helps

Dosent suprise me we back woods folks I think they only have the one shop, but I'm not sure. Be sure to check out their salvage cars, you can buy parts or the whole car in some cases. Hey Darling! you should check on used interior parts. They sometimes have complete interiors in rare colors. Dont know why I didnt think to tell you that sooner
