Has anyone had their center console lid wrapped in leather trim on 4th gen? I was thinking about doing this to match the rest of the leather interior & do the stiching length wise down the center. Thoughts?

 

I did mine in fabric. Painted the 'Camaro' logo on it, then poured resin to seal it.

 

If your looking for an Upholstery Guy, I have a buddy who used to own his own shop. He has also worked for a number of places too.

I personally think it would look good. What color of leather to you have?

I really want to do this as i think it would make the console look so much better. Hell, i would like to do the entire dash like the New Corvettes with the Leather Trim package but i have a dash cover to eliminate glare so I think I will customize elsewhere.

 

He is also looking for some side work. I'll give him a "jingle" and see what he says.

Are you supplying the Leather or would that need to be picked up?

Well I stopped over @ custom interior hot rod shop in SLC, UT (not sure if I can post the name). They are doing my center console/console lid/ upper dash & door panels like the leather upgrade optioned C6 Corvettes. I might even have the center inserts done in charcoal grey against the black leather. Kind of spendy but their interior guy is amazing & showed me a bunch of his customizations. I might have to push this one off a few weeks as I have too many things going at once.

 

Can I ask their Quote?
