Default what size hub centric rings?

I have an 81 camaro with stock drums and I got my cragar ss back wheels with custom backspacing and heard I should use hub centric rings since they have the uni lug design. I have looked at some but was wondering what size rings should I get?

Not sure what that terminology means Jason? Do you mean the washers that correctly locate the lug nuts on a unilug Cragar? If so, then I'd contact Cragar or a good tire store and let them answer that. I've got a local shop down the street that always is able to tell me exactly what I need for washers or lug nuts, and get them for me cheap.

hey vall,

no not the washers, i already have them but alot of people said to use hub centric rings to help center the wheel on the axle since the unilug pattern is hard to correctly center the wheel.
like these:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...YWHAZNC0Q4QQGF

but they have lots of sizes. im not sure which to get

Those rings are used on the newer cars to center the factory wheels, and aftermarket wheels. You don't need them if you have the Cragar washers. That started around 2000 I believe.

but the cragar washers still don't really center the wheel since the wheel has an oval bolt hole from being uni lug and can slide around

If the center hole is the same as your axel, that will locate your wheel for you. I doubt highly that the wheels won't mount dead center. Try to install them you'll see.

The oval hole is not an issue, and they wont "slide around". They will siteither on the inside edge of that oval hole, or the outside edge of the hole. Have you tried them on your car yet? Hold one over your studs without the washer and install two lug nuts. You'll see how they automatically situate them selves on the edges of the oval holes.
I've got the same Cragars sitting in my shed and they worked fine on my Camaro for years.
