LOL, that is so true.
I was sick when my truck only made 235 HP. Wouldn't have dropped a grand on heads if I wouldn't have known that magic little number.

Don't use richmond gears. The cut of the teeth makes them louder.

Ditto! I doubt anyone can make Richmond gears quiet. Unless it really bothers you it sure wont hurt the gears. It's just the way Richmond builds them. If you're patient, they will get a bit quieter after some miles.

I put my shifter back in today. Spent an hour on my back on a concrete floor and I must say my old bones are not liking it right now. That darn thing fought me every step of the way. She's about as slop free as you can get thou now so I'm happy about that. Joe the body guy's four year old was there passing me tools which was a big help, LOL. Well I think he liked my shift ball cause when I went to put it back on he and it were gone. I got a few pics of another car at Joe's shop today. A 56 Bel Air. It's gonna be pretty sweet. I'll post em up shortly.

quick question for any body who can help me. i am putting a big block into my 69 camero and i noticed the brake booster was in the way. is there a difference in size of the brake booster for a small block (which was originally in it) and a big block brake booster?
