How are you not ripping it in two with the big block?
How much HP?
What is the new motor? doesn't seem like you needed one.

I really really want a 502 but I know there is no way my t-top car can handle it.
Even with a full cage and sub-frame connectors.
I plan on starting on a 383 stroker soon.
Looking to get closer to 800hp.
i haven't ran the car yet. it's not ready but it's gonna be mostly a hot street car. It should have around 580hp and the one in my sig is the new motor lol how much HP do you have now?

Bummer! Service used to be horrible, but without parts or service I hope you don't have any issues.

I am around 600hp with the nitrous. Hopping to get it on the dyno next week. I am broke. I have spent more this month getting ready then half these guys paid fir there camaro. Heck I spent more then I paid for mine.

My trick flow heads should be good for a full 100hp according to hot rod mag. They did a review on these heads when they came out.

Good luck at the dyno. I have never been my self. Always wondered what my motors have made.

I started using one to tune a fuel injection set up I had on my 79 C10. Really liked being able to get the last pit of HP out of it.

I am becoming friends with a shop owner who has one. Seem to be at his place a few times a week. He is going to help me tune everything for the nitrous on the dyno. Safer that way. He only wants $60 an hour and will stop the clock while I change stuff. Figure it is well worth $60 to be sure the nitrous is safe.

You would be surprised how many cars don't really make the power people think they do. A stock Z like mine only made 225 HP. My C10 only made 230 HP with tune port fuel injection and a nice cam. I bought AFR heads a few days after finding that out.

Hmm, I wonder how the altitude affects the HP rating on the Dyno.

LOL No I wouldn't be surprised. I have been to a few Super Chevy shows with a mobile dyno. You could hear the heart break a mile away.

Car guys are all fishermen inside. They always exaggerate their HP, just like fishermen exaggerate their catch! I thin most guys would pass up the chance so they wont have to really know how much HP they really have!
